Vice President of Transformation - US remote

Permanent employee

Your tasks

The Vice President of Transformation is a senior executive who owns and drives cplace’s highest-priority transformation programs end to end. Reporting to the CFO, you will partner with leaders across the company to identify, design, and deliver the change initiatives that move the business — with a primary emphasis on sales enablement and go-to-market effectiveness, and a mandate that extends to other operating areas as the company requires.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can think strategically and execute relentlessly: framing the problem with the executive team one week, and running the program, removing blockers, and reporting results the next. You will bring structure, accountability, and momentum to initiatives that span multiple functions and geographies.
  • Own cplace’s portfolio of strategic transformation initiatives, prioritizing the projects with the greatest impact on growth, efficiency, and customer value in partnership with the executive team.
  • Lead sales-enablement transformation as the primary focus: improving go-to-market processes, sales tooling and systems, onboarding and ramp, playbooks, methodology adoption, partner ecosystem design, and the data and metrics that drive revenue performance.
  • Take on transformation programs in other operating areas as required, such as operations, customer success, professional services, product delivery, or corporate processes.
  • Design each program: define objectives, scope, success metrics, milestones, governance, and resourcing, and secure executive alignment and sponsorship.
  • Drive execution across cross-functional teams, managing interdependencies, removing blockers, and holding owners accountable to outcomes and timelines.
  • Establish a clear cadence of reporting to executive leadership on progress, risks, and measurable results, escalating decisions when needed.
  • Lead change management and stakeholder communication so that new processes, tools, and ways of working are adopted and sustained.
  • Build a repeatable transformation operating model, methodology, and toolkit that the company can apply to future initiatives.
  • Where useful, leverage the cplace platform itself to plan, track, and govern transformation programs, modeling internally the value we deliver to customers.

What we expect

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, sales operations, revenue operations and partner management leadership, with a proven track record of scaling SaaS software businesses that serve enterprise customers
  • 5+ years of experience in transformation, strategy, operations, or program leadership, including senior roles owning large, cross-functional change programs end to end.
  • A strong track record delivering sales enablement or go-to-market transformation and measurable revenue or efficiency impact, in a B2B SaaS software environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives across functions and geographies, with executive presence and influence at the C-suite level.
  • Excellent program and project management discipline, including governance, metrics, and accountability for outcomes. Formal PM or change-management credentials are a plus.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn ambiguous business problems into clear plans and results.
  • Exceptional communication and change-leadership skills; able to align executives and motivate teams through significant change.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-growing, international company and willingness to travel up to 20%, including occasional travel outside the US.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Additional Preferences
  • Experience with project and portfolio management (PPM) software or PMO operating models, or prior use of cplace or comparable platforms.
  • Background in management consulting combined with in-house operating or transformation leadership.
  • Familiarity with engineering-driven industries such as automotive, aerospace, life sciences, or manufacturing.
  • German-language ability is a plus but not required.
